Hello dear list,
I have just one question.
At the moment I'm -as usual- busy with my site and just started
creating a new item on Dutch surnames. While reading the
Dutch-Colonies topics, I often encounter old -dutch sounding-
surnames,and I was wondering if they're still present in the
Netherlands and in which region. That's why I started doing lookups
at the Surname Database of the great Meertens Institute website.
<http://www.meertens.knaw.nl/>;
For the comfort of quick reading I turned the lists of the Meertens
site into easy readable graphics. It's not a very hard job at all,
but, before continuing something senseless, I would rather hear from
you whether it's of some use at all or not.
Therefore I would gently invite you to visit
http://members.home.nl/rabbel/nnfamilies.html
when you finished your coffee and let me know what you think.
Don't be too afraid to step on my toe's.

Kindest regards,
Willem
