Hi Phyllis and Dorothy,

Dorothy is absolutely correct in her analysis of Aeltje Web, the wife of
Syrach Titus (great sleuthing Dorothy, and thank you!)

I have a few bits and pieces to add.

Dorothy listed the following children for Syrach Titus and Aeltje Webb,
as provided by Dave Riker on the New Netherlands Directory (CD) p 1428.

Geertje
Pieter
Sara
Francis
Cornelius
and maybe Syrach

Little Sara was baptized at the Jamaica DRC on 29 Sep 1717, and
Cornelius was baptized 25 Feb 1721/22 at the Port Richmond DRC (Staten
Island Church Records by Tobias Alexander Wright, p 26) as follows:
Syrah Tites, Aaltje Webs; Cornelius; Barent Martling, Antje Vanderbilt

Riker appears to have missed another son, for there is evidence that
Syrach Titus and Aeltje Webb had a son named Titus (named after the
paternal grandfather). He married Blandina Van Pelt of Staten Island,
the daughter of Johannes Van Pelt and Sarah LeRoy.

At the baptism of this couple's first child, Aeltje Web stood as sponsor
for her namesake, Aeltje Titus. On page 30 of the Staten Island Church
Records at the Port Richmond DRC, the following baptism is recorded for
16 Aug 1724:
Tites Tites, Blandina Van Pelt; Aaltje; Johannes Van Pelt, Aaltje Web

This couple baptized 6 more children at the Port Richmond DRC:
Sara, 10 Apr 1726
Maria, 24 Mar 1727/28
Syrach, 6 Mar 1729/30
Antje, 15 Apr 1734
Marytje, 2 May 1736
Teunis, 26 May 1740

Also, there probably was a daughter of Syrach Titus and Aeltje Web named
Jannetje, (in honor of the paternal grandmother, Jannetje Teunis
Nyssen). Although no sponsors were listed for this record, on p 43
[SICR}, Jannetje Tites and Matthew Skane baptized their son Pieter on 26
Mar 1732 at the Port Richmond DRC.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Pam Sears
