Searching for the family of Harmon/Harmen VanRiper, born about 1813-1818
in Saddle River, New Jersey. He may have had a mother, sister, or aunt
named Helen.

He married Catharine Wynyall. In 1849, their first child Helen Jane was
born in Hanover, Morris County, NJ. They later moved to Newark, NJ, and
then on to Philadelphia, PA.
