I have just been wading through the archives, checking for information
on the new family members Dorothy Koenig has so generously found for me.
It took me several days, but what a wonderful resource! And thank you
again, Dorothy. I really appreciate it.
While searching, I came across several references to Mr. William B.Bogardus
and the research material he has amassed.
I don't want to be morbid or indelicate, but does anyone on the list know
Mr. Bogardus well enough to know whether he has made arrangements for the
preservation of this material after he is gone (which I am sure we all hope
will not be for a very long time)?
Or if not, does anyone know him well enough to approach him about doing so?
This is just the kind of situation discussed earlier on this list, where
family members make a big bonfire out of someone's lifelong work. It would
be tragic if that happened.
I hope someone on the list will respond to tell me that everything is taken
care of. Best wishes to all - Edie in Maine
