Hi, Bruce,

If you're interested in producing a GEDCOM from a certain branch of a family,
you can click on the descendant or ancestor or mixed tree graph buttons, and
then choose from the FILE pull down menu the "Copy/Export individuals in
Ancestor Tree" option. You can choose either .FTW or .GED as a file type.
Though this is an awkward way in which to do such an easy thing, it's
sometimes come in handy for me. I haven't found a way, though, to make a
GEDCOM of everyone with a certain SURNAME.
