I have always wondered why my Grandmother Eleanor Perrine Hoffman (born Mar
11, 1888 Bridgewater Twp, Somerset County, New Jersey- Washington Valley, New
Jersey) was given the name PERRINE as her middle name. Her parents were: Eli
Parker Hoffman b. Mar 10, 1839 Pluckemin, Somerset County, New Jersey and
Anna Rebecca Mullen b. May 28, 1849 Long Valley, Somerset County, New
Jersey.; These are German names and PERRINE is French. Are there any
PERRINE people that might tie into the MULLEN or HOFFMAN line?
