See:

and the 1999 discussion is mainly about

There are a few corrections in Vol 16:
"for Bowersbam read Bowersharm"
"for Annether read Annetie Hendricks"
"for Armont Webbers Sr. read Aernout Webbers Sr."

A few years ago when we were discussing many of these will abstracts
here, I noticed that even with the corrections there still seemed to be
some fairly obvious errors. I don't know if they thought it wasn't worth
correcting them or what.

For me, it is always easier to transcribe a 17th C document when I
have some idea of what the words and name should be. :)

William Hoffman wrote an article on the Selijns family in NYGBR
vol 63 (1932) pp 111 ff. It concludes with a descent-type
presentation of the family starting with Willem Selijns born about
1500. This was written in part to correct some errors in an
article on the Selyns/Kock/Webber/ etc. by Louis de Boer in NYGBR
vol 57 (Oct 1926) pp 365-381.

It stops with Rev. Henricus Selijns and his wives and says that for
a full record see NYGBR vol 57 pp 119-142. I think this is also
by de Boer and, as Hoffman says, one should apply the corrections
from his vol 63 article.

I now see from my notes that you have seen the Hoffman article.
If you haven't seen the de Boer one, there may be some clues
there.

Regards,
Howard
