Dear Friends and Cousins, Thanks to all who sent cards commiserating with
me about my broken hip. Moral: Never try to wrestle with a long-rooted,
recalcitrant dandelion.

Since it's my right hip, I won't be able to drive for about 3 or 4 months.
I just came home from the rehab facility yesterday, and now I have to
focus on physical therapy exercises diligently 3 times a day. At present,
I'm limited, e.g. can't bend over to put cat food dishes on the floor,
etc. I need to walk with a walker.

At any rate, I'm slowed down considerably, but there is every expectation
that I will recover full mobility. Thanks for your understanding and
patience and messages of good cheer via the US postal service. They made
a positive difference!
