John T is buried at Esopus, Port Ewen Cemetery. Dates: Jul 4, 1800-May 10,
1838. There were a number of Seletje Van Vliets in the area. Johannes Van
Vliet married Seletjen Schneider in 1757. The result was a large number of
Seletje Van Vliet granddaughters @ 1800. I believe the Seletje married to Post was
George and Margaret's(Brown) daughter. Johannes Jr's dau Seletje married
Jonathon Van Keuren. Given John T's birth date, it is likely that Arie's dau
Seletje was probably his wife. She was born at Esopus (baptised Klyn Esopus),
Jun 1, 1799.
