Curiosity took me to the site of the VAN PELT House/Brooklyn pictures.
<A HREF="http://www.forgotten-ny.com/Alleys/midbrooklyn/midbrook.html">http://www.forgotten-ny.com/Alleys/midbrooklyn/midbrook.html</A>;

I found there a WILLIAMSON house (1850) in the same area of the VAN PELT
house.
I know the dates below are a little early for the estimated ones at the web
site, but I can't help but wonder if the VAN PELT & WILLIAMSON families in my
data are the of the same families the houses belong to.

Jacomyntie Theunisse VAN PELT ( c1649-1711) married ( c 1676)Jochem GULICK
Two of their daughters married WILLIAMSON brothers.
Grietje GULICK m. (Cornelius WILLIAMSON (Willem W. & Mayke WYCKOFF)
Catalyntje GULICK m.(c 1705) Willem WILLEMSEN Jr (1707) Willem W. & Mayke
WYCKOFF)

Then we have Catherine (Gulick) Buckalew, b. 1768, was the dau of Hendrick
"Henry" Gulick and Mary Williamson. But this was over in NJ.
