Subject: Stryker, Perrine and Fountaine

William Narman Stryker in his Book on the Stryker family says that the wife
of Peter Stryker is the daughter of Henry Perine and Antje Fountaine. Her
name was Antje
Perrine. There are two Henry Perrines that I know of and maybe more who
could be this fatherof Antje Perrine. I have tried to pin the right Henry
down but it is still unclear which is the right one. There is the one
(1669-1734) who is the son of Daniel the immigrant but the old Perrine
genealogy that was written in 1910 says that he married a Marie and no
daughter named Antje. The other Henry (1705-1753) is the son of Peter the
son of Daniel has a wife named Martha Jobs.
But again no Ann Fountaine and no daughter named Ann but one named Nancy
which one article says is Antje. The dates for both Henrys are a tight
squeese to have a daughter let her grow up and have a child (Marie Stryker)
by 1738. But Henry does work the best of the two. But he would have been
real young when he married Antje Fountaine as his first wife.
Is there anyone out there that knows how to get in touch with William Norman
Stryker? I used to have his address but over the years have lost it. He may
know which Henry is the correct Henry. Also does anyone have any thing more
on this family? This family appears to be real mixed up and no real good
info on them that I can find on the net. Has anyone written a book on the
Perrine family since the 1910 book?
