Looking... Still .... for information on James T. Rosekrans, born Feb. 15, 1806... Married Caroline Siver,,,, about 1829...
He was working in New Baltimore, New York.. in 1850 as a miller. According to his son. Thomas Rosekrans.. He died in 1852...
Looking for where he is buried...
His wife Caroline Siver Rosekrans, died in April 17, 1884.. She is supposedly buried in the Albany Rural Cemetery .. As is her daughter Catharine Rosekrans Hallenbeck and her grandson Wallace R. Hallenbeck.. But another mystery.. Someone stole all three headstones... I found the burial site.. which was purchased by the Hitchcock family in about 1844... But the only headstones present are for the Hitchcock family members..
Another mystery.. Someone care to solve the mysteries of the burial site for James T. Rosekrans.. as well as the missing headstones for the Rosekrans family.. I would really appreciate the help.
Caroline Rosekrans and her husband James T. Rosekrans would be my great great grandparents on my mother's side of the family.
Thanks,
James A. Davidson
