She married Barney (Barrent) Smock before 1770 Barney was born 5 Oct.
1738 in
Monmouth Co NJ. Baptised 27 March 1743 in Middleton, Monmouth Co NJ.
Died
after 1812 in Mercer Co KY, (Death Date according to DAR Patriotic
Service
Records). He was a son of Hendrickse Smock and Mary Schenck. He
appears in the Tax Records for Mt. Pleasant Twp. York Co PA. Father of
9 children, several of
whom were baptized at Conewago Colony: Maria, Cornelius, Hendrick,
Pieter, Antie, Neeltje, Garret, John and Cynthia. After 1783 he
removed to Mercer Co KY
where he purchased land on 26 March 1793. Mercer Co KY List of Taxable
Property 1787, Barnay Smock - 3 horses, 11 cattle. He is included on
the 1794 'List of Taxable Property" within the District of james Clark
Commissioner, Mercer Co On May 15 he is listed as having one white
person over the age of 21 in his household as well as 3 horses, 11
cattle and 60 First Rate Acres in Mercer Co
KY. He is also listed in 1800 Census of Mercer Co.
On 4 April 1812, Barney and wife Ann sold land to their son John for
"five
shillings, love and affection.
