1877, ae 62.11.22; buried Kakiat Ref Chyd (W. New Hempstead),
Rockland Co., NY.
Jane Maria Smith was b. 15 Feb 1818 Rockland Co.; bp. 29
March 1818 Kakiat Ref Ch; d. 22 March 1861, ae 43.1.8; buried Kakiat
Ref Chyd (W. New Hempstead).
In the Kakiat m. record they are both of Hempstead [Rockland
Co., NY]. She "dau. of Cornelius Smith."
John Forshay, 36, and Jane Forshay, 32, were listed in the
1850 Federal Census, living in the Town of Ramapo, Rockland County,
NY, with their children.
John and Jane, with 7 children, are listed in the 1855 NY
State Census, Rockland Co., Town of Ramapo, 2nd ED, dwelling 95,
family 109. He is listed as a labourer.

* Hannah G. Forshay, b. 7 March 18511 Rockland Co. (Boston,
MA1); d. 20 May 1875; m. 18 May 1871 Henry Ackerman. He was b. 23 Jan
1847; d. 25 Dec 1904. They had a child, Lena Ackerman, b. about 1874.1
* William A. Forshay, b. abt. 1853 Rockland Co.
* Calvin Forshay, b. about 1855. In 1865 he was living with
