Dear Jan, I am the editor and publisher of the genealogical quarterly,
"New Netherland Connections". Frans Gouverneur, a meticulous researcher,
has recently completed a seven-part series entitled "Dutch Origins of Some
Early Settlers and Allied Families", published in NNC between May 2003 and
November 2004:

Part 1 (8:2) Steenwijck, Godtschalck, Maurits (Sluiswachter), Ten Broecke
(Paludanus), Van Nieuwenhuijsen

Part 2 (8:3) De Keij, Marssens, Macke, Lubberts, De La Noij

Part 3 (8:4) De Peijster

Part 4 (9:1) Van Der Liphorst, Provoost

Part 5 (9:2) Van Brug

Part 6 (9:3) Webber, Cock

Part 7 (9:4) Selijns, Specht

All issues of "New Netherland Connections" are still available. The
annual subscription price is still only $15.00 (four issues). Single back
issues cost $5.00 each.

Dorothy
