I don't this this is entirely accurate-don't know. However there was no "New
Amsterdam" or "Amsterdam" in America until 1624 or perhaps 1623. There are
four familys from the first settlement(Ship New Netherland) who have
descendents here today. I remember two are Rapalje and Montefort, and there
is one begins with V. Sara Rappalje was the first female of European descent
