I had wondered if anything was known of any descendents of Adriaen
BLOCK, seafarer-explorer, who sailed to North America about 1613 and
who returned to the old country about 1614.
I had wondered if anything further was known of one Aderiaen, aka
Aerjan BLOCK, "Varensman" (seafarer), who baptized five children
between 1607 and 1615, in [Old] Amsterdam [Holland], with wife Neeltje
Henrix. Those children were Stijntjen, 1607; Henrik, 1610; Neeltje,
1612; and twins Neeltje and Jan, in 1615.
I had wondered if the Aderiaen, aka Aerjan BLOCK, father of children
(above) found in doopregisters index of [Old] Amsterdam [Holland],
might be the same as the Adriaen BLOCK, seafarer-explorer, who sailed
to North America in 1613.
I had wondered particularly whether or not any possible descendents of
Adriaen BLOCK, seafarer-explorer, who sailed to North America in 1613,
were known to have settled in North America.
Thank you all,
Liz J
