Sorry, but I meant to add this before.

Re: Lawrenceville, Mercer Co., NJ.

Again, Derrick Hoff died before 22 Dec 1730, when his will was proved in
Maidenhead, Hunterdon, NJ. His place of death is not specified.

A quick check of New Jersey GenWeb shows the following:

Hunterdon County - formed in 1714 from Burlington County; County Seat:
Flemington

Mercer County - formed in 1838 from portions of Burlington, Hunterdon,
Middlesex and Somerset Counties; County Seat: Trenton


So, I think you need to check your source for that place of death.
