Hello Howard, Ethel, Renee, David and all listers following this topic,
For the record...
Heyltje, baptized 12 Jun 1650 @ New Amsterdam DRC
with witnesses: Aert Willemszen and wife
was the daughter of Elbert Elbertse Stoothoff, ---NOT d/o Albert
Albertsze Terhune.
I am soooo ashamed..."creeping senility" is an UGLY thing to a family
historian!!!
**Please** accept my apology...and thank you, Howard for correcting it in
your 8/15/2011 reply...as well as referencing Stoothoff's will abstract
naming her as his daughter.
Howard's reference (below) to Stoothoff's will abstract leaves no doubt:
> An abstract of the will of “Elbert Elberts Stoothoffe” is shown in the TAG
> article mentioned by Pam in vol. 45, p. 179. This mentions children
> Gerrit,_Heyltie_, and Aegie.
Additional documentation:
The underlined [below]: "Helena", "Garrett," and "Aechye" are the
children and heirs of
