Subject: Parish Registers
I have put this request before but just in case we have any new folks, I
would like to ask the list, (other than those that have already replied
previously), that if anyone is doing or has done any transcripts of the East
Meon Parish Registers, I would love a copy. Christenings I already have,
which were sent to me, marriages and burials would be wonderful. I am at the
moment transcribing the marriages and burials but still have a long way to
go. I intend to make the information freely available on my web page
www.safari.freeserve.co.uk which so far has some transcripts. I am also
willing to exchange information if anyone is doing likewise. Transcripts of
any nature that have any connection with the Meon Valley area, such as East
Meon, West Meon, Langrish, Ramsdean etc would also be welcome. I must stress
that I am not SELLING information or using it for other than personal
research, and I would make any information freely available.
