WRIGHT, Alvin W. 79 of Springfield, passed away February 5, 2007 at 1:55 p.m. at Essex of Springfield. He was born November 8, 1927 in Minefork, Kentucky the son of the late Green and Jewell Cantrell Wright. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. He worked as a Home Builder/Contractor in Springfield and the surrounding area. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pauline Coffey and his three children, Patricia A. Sherman, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, David A. Wright (Jennifer),of Springfield and Peggy A. Wright-Patterson (Jeffrey), of Archbold, Ohio and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Roger D. Wright, two brothers, Wesley and Wayne and two sisters Renda and Nolva. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rose Hill Chapel. Visitation will be held for one half hour prior to the services. Burial will follow. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY- ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
