Elaine,

Have to be careful with the Guy Rix book as there are some errors. I am a
descendent of Josiah W. Eastman, son of Jesse Eastman and Polly Swift. Jesse
the son of Edmund Eastman and Mary Davis. In the Guy Rix book, Jesse son of
Edmond is listed as the one that married Lucinda Heath, which is an obvious
error.

I don't have much on your family but this is what I found:

Pg. 37 Edmon Eastman of Corinth m: Polly Courier of Washington, March 13,
1800 at Washington

Pg. 83 Edmon Eastman Jr. and Polly children:
Betsey January 14, 1801
Ranson November 11, 1802
Calvin November 10, 1804
Lucinda March 29, 1807
None of the other children are listed. This may be due to the family moving
to the town of Orange, Vermont.

Pg. 30 Calvin Eastman of Orange m: Hannah Prescott of Corinth, 30 March 1837

In the book "History of Corinth, Vermont" Edmond, b: Feb 28, 1777, m: Polly
Currier of Newburyport, Mass. She d: in 1876 ae. 94 yrs., he died 1858 ae. 81
years. Their children (as you list them) were: Ranson, Calvin, Lyman,
Addison, Betsey, Lucinda, Polly, Nancy, Mandana and Emerson E.

Emerson E. was b. in 1822 in Orange, Vt and married Charlotte Scribner
(b. Apr 22, 1819)............

The book does not go in to detail about the other children. So you might
check the town of Orange.

In the book History and Genealogy of the EASTMAN Family of America
compiled by Guy Rix I found on page 433 Edmund Eastman (Edmund, Edmund,
Edmund, Benjamin, Roger) The children Ranson, Calvin, Lyman, Addison,
Betsey, Lucinda, Polly, Nancy, Maudana, Emerson. They apear to be born
in Corinth, VT.

I am researching a Lyman T Eastman who married Lydia A Nichols in 1841.
Does anyone know anything about this Lyman that was born to Edmund.
