Hello again,

I am still searching for the marriage of John EAVES and Emma
WHITWORTH about 1860ish. Verbal history said they where married at Eccles,
England, also that Emma was born in Macclesfield.

A connection between a place called the Crows Nest and the
WHITWORTHs led me to Dewsbury in Yorkshire. There I found an Emma and a sister
Betsy/Bessy living very near the "Crow Nest Mansion". Birth dates for both
girls match my information. The sister was married to a HALL.

John and Emma were in NY City in the 1870
census.

I have nothing at all on John EAVES in
England.
