Subject: [ECKLES] Two lines of Echols/Eckles in Wilkes/Oglethorpe co Georgiain the 1790's

Apparently therer were the Echols and therre were the Eckles living in
Wilkes and Oglethorpe and Washington and Hancock co Georgia in the 1780's
and 1790's. It looks like the names were interchanged at times and the
Echols were called Eckles and the Eckles were called Echols.
Would anyone have information about these people and where they came from
and who they were? Ross
