I have just been browsing the Rootsweb and found a number of people interested in this family.I am decended from the Eddowes family through my gr grandmother Emma Eddowes who was born in Wrexham in 1851 daughter of Thomas Eddowes and Ann Crofs.I have trced this branch back to Edo ap Griffith of Hanmer, and subsequently back from him to the Lord's of Bromfield and beyond.If I can be of help to any of you please contact me as it is always nice to converse with other Eddowes
