1. William Edwards died in 1785 in Bertie County, North Carolina. Will
abstracted in Abstracts of Bertie Co. Wills, p. 333 will lists children,
Thomas, Benjamin, John, William, Nathan, Mary and Dorcus, his brother
Titus Edwards and his son, Nathan Edwards were executors of the will.

He was married to Tabitha. William EDWARDS and Tabitha had the
following children:
2 i. Thomas EDWARDS.
3 ii. Benjamin EDWARDS.
4 iii. John EDWARDS.
5 iv. William Jr. EDWARDS.
6 v. Absolom EDWARDS.
7 vi. Nathan EDWARDS.
+8 vii. Mary (Polly) EDWARDS.
9 viii. Dorcas EDWARDS.

SECOND GENERATION

8. Mary (Polly) EDWARDS was born in Bertie County, North Carolina. She
was married to Malachi OLIVER (son of John OLIVER and Mary) on 29 Apr
1798 in Bertie County, North Carolina. Malachi OLIVER was born in
Bertie County, North Carolina. Bef 1810 moved with bros. Martin and
Shadrack to western KY, Onslow Co. They left and were in Hickman Co., KY
in 1827-28.
