L.D.S. listing of films & books on line at their site

I would not trust their computer bank, but they have a wealth of original
records on film or fiche that you can rent.

I would not be surprized to find for Lincoln Co. NC the legal papers you
seek on film.

I think the State of NC will make copies of documents but you would need
the actual Book & Page number of the Will Book.
