Looking for a Stephen Edwards as well. He was born ca 1801 in NC, migrated
to AL, then was in Lauderdale MS. He was married to Frances Smith. Frances
is buried in Cokers Chapel Cemetery, Lauderdale Co., MS. Stephen Edwards
died 14 Aug 1864 near Hurricane Creek, presumably during the rage by
Sherman's troops into Mississippi.
