I have Edwards ancestors from Missouri also. My Great Grandmother was Susan
Ellen Edwards b. 2-8-1857. She had a sister named Catherine or "Katie" but
she was born in 1846. They are the daughters of Thomas Edwards and
Sallie/Sarah Hatfield. Thomas had a sister named Katie also. Thomas and
Sallie/Sarah Edwards are buried in Jamesport, MO. Thomas' father was Arthur
Edwards and mother was Freelove Clouse. There is a Hopkins connection there
somehow but I can't remember offhand. I'm wondering if there is a connection
to your Katie somehow.
