Good evening,
I do not know which Robert Edwards he was, I was only showing that there
were Edwards in America at an early time. There were also two Edward
females, Hannah Edwards m. Joseph Doty b. Mar 31 1683, and Sarah Edwards m.
Joseph Doty b. Apr 30, 1651, son of Isaac Doty & Deborah Hatch [she was his
3rd wife]. I don't know how they were connected. But, as you can see the
Edwards were in America at an early time.
