Cathy,
Try the LDS. They film a lot of newspapers.
I think I would try the Oklahoma State Archives first.

I have been trying to find a newpaper obituary on him but I have hit a dead end. I have contacted the Cheyenne library and the OK Historical Society and attached is their response. Does anyone have any other ideas? I am trying to find out if the obituary listed any other relatives.

Their death dates were George 5/24/1929 and hers 1/22/1930. George Taylor was (supposedly) a long time resident and the Sheriff of Strong City for a time as I understand, and was killed with his own shotgun during a hunting or fishing trip. My father Floyd Edwards was with him and carried him back to town. I would think that something like that would have warranted a pretty big write up.

> Cathy Ray: Strong City is in Roger Mills County and we have newspapers for that town. We have the Strong City Herald from August 1912 to April 1925. We have the Strong City Press from November 1934 to 1938. IT doesn't seem that we have the 1929 or 1930 issues of a Strong City newspaper. I can not tell you where you might find those. I wish I could. I am sorry that I could nt help you. Thank you for writing the Oklahoma Historical Society.
