Edward, Thanks for pointing the territory issues out. As you say it
is an important consideration, when tracing family lines during the
time periods wherein territories were becoming individual states. A
good rule of thumb is to be flexible in ones thinking, check
surrounding areas and when at the wall of the secret garden....try
researching another section of the hedge, sister, brother, aunt,
uncle and so on.

I have found more often than not, there are several routes one can
take to arrive at a desired destination. Same thing applies with
genealogy. Thanks again for sharing...sometimes we forget about
those boundaries. Janet
