I am wondering if anyone has any info on a James EDWARDS b. approx 1755 give or take 5+ years either side of that date. He was married in Tyrrell County, NC 19 Feb. 1781 to Rachel HASSELL. A witness to this bond is a John EDWARDS - possibly a brother or father??? Could James EDWARDS possibly be the father of John EDWARDS b. 1782 in NC??? This John (1782) married Philiss BASNIGHT in 1807 in Tyrell County, NC. John & Philiss are my 3rd great grandparents. If anyone has any info on this, I would be interested in hearing from you!
