hi lane
i was trolling through looking for my edwards line and saw your posting...
i live about 25 miles from kingsport tenn. my last name is canter...around here, people sometimes pronounce my last name as "caner" and thought you might need to know that tidbit in case it is a pronunciation error blocking you instead of actual lack of info. we are often called "carter" also....maybe callie was a canter instead and the caner edwards was her maiden and married name?
