My great great grandmother was Nancy J Edwards Cobb, she married William H Cobb in 1850s ??. Somewhere in the Edwards line the name of Whitley comes in and the family members marry back and forth in these lines for several years. The best lead that I have is Hugh Edwards, b 1801 NC and Judith Whitley b. 1807 VA, have a daughter Nancy, b. 1836 TN. I can;t prove that this nancy is my grandmother. I will appreciate any help.......Thanks ,Sue
