Hi, I've found 3 Richard Gilletts, one before the massacre, one dead in Virginia (same guy?) , a mention at Elizabeth Cittee, and then he is listed with many others who want to sett saile for Newfoundland. So that is where we trying to fill in the blanks. Did a son, grandson make it to Elizabeth Cittee and then off to Newfoundland, where he came the constable for Trinity, Trinity Bay, 1730? I can see from my posting, that I should have made my query a bit clearer. Denise

> Hey, I don't have an information about your Richard Gillett, but I was wondering if he was at Martin Hundred, before the massacre, which happened in 1622 how could he have been a constable in Newfoundland in 1730. If he was born in 1622 and probable a lot earlier than that, that would have put his age as least 108 in Newfoundland in 1730. I probable read your query wrong and you were writing about his grandson so I do apologize. Emily
