Hello Egan Listers ,

Letting you know I am your new Egan-L list Administrator

My name is Kevin Egan and I am from Australia.

Now Retired I have a little more Time on my hands .

I have been into Genealogy now for a number of years and although I am
unable to do Personal research, I wil lbe watching all postings here with
the aim of assisting if possible .

I notice that there are a few Kind Listers out there who are willing to
help and they should be encouraged as more data becomes available on the Net
.

Joe egan from California,Janet Eagen, and Julia M Whyte are just three that
should be Congratulated on their personal efforts.

We must not forget the Clan Egan Association and do not be afraid to ask for
a search of the Data Bases available or to add your GED Files ( Speaking for
Australia,as I do not know what data is available now in the USA chapter,or
if there is a Libarian Available )

I attended the 2004 Rally in Ireland and was very rewarded in Genealogical
sence and have vowed to return one day.

The Big News is the DNA testing . You are all encourged to Join in here

Test results which are displayed on the Clans Web pages are showing some
remarkable early results from a Small Number of entries and Linking Egans
from Australia and the USA.
