My great grandparents were kieran and julia egan nee dooly from townsend street in birr co offaly .My grandparents were kieran and maryellen egan nee dooley who also lived in the same house .Both men were publicans and farmers here.My father was Michael Egan r.i.p. in 1976.I believe Dooleys owned the railway station,other properties in johns mall in Birr and were financially good. This may be of some assistance to you, Yours Edward Egan.
