I'm looking for information on Mattie Elliot. She would have been my great great great grandmother. I found her in the 1900 Tennessee Census. Gives a birthdate of Feb. 1868 but no date of her death. Her husband was Joseph R. Ramsey 1864-1939. What I would really like to have is information on her parents. My grandmother told me Mattie's mother died on the trail of tears, and then had been raised by a Rebecca. My grandmother thinks Mattie's mothers name is Nancy Willingham but I cannot be sure. Because grandma also thought Mattie's name was Martha but maybe that was what they called her. After looking up her children I decided her name was Mattie
