Hi,
I am searching for Jacksons who have their roots in Walker County TX, and or Madison co.and Houston co.TX
Walker is where my second great grandfather settled before 1840 census. His property was located in Montgomery county when he recieved it and later shows it Walker county. Walker co. is where he lived. I figure the county boundaries may have changed. I am looking for anyone connected with Jacksons from this area, particularly in an area of Walker county that used to be called Goshen. abt 1860 The following names are related, Denman, Dowdy, Madden, McWhorter, Ellis, possibly Beeson? That one is memory only. and Leonard. I am at a brickwall with my gggrandfather. He was supposedly born in Hardeman co. Tnn, bet. 1810 and 1813. Or at least came from that area. Please any of you Jacksons with roots back to Walker, Madison or Houston county TX, expecially if any came from Tnn. please contact me
