My Grandmother came from Glasgow to the U.S. in 1920 aboard the Aquatania. I found her on the Ellis Island website. Her record has a line drawn all the way through it. Would anyone know the reason for this line?
She had once told my mother that she landed in Boston. Would some passengers get off it Boston instead of New York? I wondered if that is why she has the line drawn through her record.
She was Annabella MacDonald, born February 11, 1889. Date of immigration July 24, 1920. Liverpool to New York?
I certainly would appreciate any hints you might be able to give me!
Thank you
Gail
