Actually, there was another brother in the family, another son of Antonio's, Joseph, who came to the US a few years after my grandfather, Luigi and his sister, Virginia. There was also a brother to Antonio named Giuseppe. They emigrated from Valledolmo, Sicily in the early 1890's, and went to Fredonia, New York. There are many Manuele families who are connected to this Fredonia group. Some of the family kept the final "e" although my side of the family generally did not. I hope this helps.
