Hi, after the week from Hades, I am finally up and running.

Norton Utilities in SystemWorks 2000 wiped my hard drive as a maintenance
function.

This totally wiped out 3 years of genealogy work and the back-ups are
invalid (Corrupted).

It will take a long time to rebuild the data bases I had previously, and
any who whish to contrubute a gedcom on the Scism, Peffley, Endicott,
Bullock families would be greatly appreciated.

If you remember that you and I have connected in the past, and have saved
the data, I would appreciate a copy (I no longer have Word for Windows,
so I am stuck with only Word pad, and a text editor.) I will hopefully be
able to reinstall FTM soon ( My son has abscounded with the CDs).

The websites are stable and I will recover the data on them to my
computer probably today. (Nice that this is possible).

And much of my research can be recovered from various archives.

I have several in the AOL gedcom archives, which I can not access.

Fortunately I have sent many copies of my various lines as text to many
mail lists on Rootsweb, and can recover the information from those list
archives.
