(as a non-member, but List manager) I propose that the above arrange an
internet meeting to instigate the Association.

Recommended actions?

1. Set agenda.
2. define goals.
3. decide to accept or decline rootsweb's offer of free webspace on
Freepages.rootsweb.com.
4. assign a webmaster, and/or information coordinator.

other business as they see necessary.

I recommend that a decision be made re: "coordination" of the various
websites, and management of the website availability and costs.

sanction of existing websites as "associated" or starting fresh, and making
the others "linked".

set a mail list policy, I will Bow to any decisions they make. (including
sitting their own list manager if they so choose)
