The census records can help you! If you write to
you'll reach Alan Simpson. For £1 per person plus an sae the full printout
of the household's page of the CEB can be bought for each census year. Well
worth it for following a family's employment & offspring. The Francis TOBIN
b 1844 you mention in another post as running a boarding house was brought
up to the job - here's the household in 1851:
