The Oxfordshire Study Centre at Westgate Library also has an enormous
collection of local papers, including those that are obsolete. For Chipping
Norton, the Chipping Norton Advertiser (Til 1973) is all on Microfilm.
You have to book a machine, and a charge of £1 for 3 hours is levied. It is
well worth a day or two's visit, as it has most of the census records, Church
records etc. available as well.
