Hi Bill,
Go to the Family Search front page :- http://www.familysearch.org
and on the side bar to the left click on 'order family history resources'
This takes you to a page headed Family History, from there click on the
'software download free' option. This will take you to a menu giving a list
of freely downloadable progs. The item that you want is No. 36100999 (PAF
v4.04)
This should be the first item on the list. click on the link and follow the
instructions, there is a short reg form to fill in (the second part of it is
optional). This takes you to the download page, then Bob's your auntie,
it'll download.(unless the server is still going slow, been a bit odd for a
couple of weeks)
Hope that isn't as clear as mud ,<VBG>
