I am researching the surname of HANGER and, in particular, that of my
husband's g-grandfather, John Thomas HANGER. The information I have on
him is as follows:
He was a Butcher from Dogsthorpe and born in Peterborough in December
quarter of 1845. By 1869, John Hanger had moved to West Ham, London,
where he was married in the December quarter of 1869. John Thomas
HANGER died in June quarter of 1908, age 62 in West Ham, where he is
interred.
I would be most appreciative if anyone with a list of the census records
could have a look for any reference to the above mentioned John Thomas
HANGER and his family before he moved from Dogsthorpe to London before
1869.
Thank you for your kind help.
Sincerely,
Diane Hungate
