Hi list,
Thank you so much to everyone who has sent me information and
suggestions Re: TWISS family in Cambridge. I very much appreciate
all your time and interest.

Thank you David and Bonnie for that excellent website, I don't know
how I missed that. The baptism of James Peterson Twiss does not
appear on the Baptism Index but he has been found mentioned in his
fathers will as well as three more sisters and another brother.

Ruth, thanks for the suggestion of the Twiss list on Rootsweb. So
far I haven't found any Lancashire connnections.

Dawn, I have come across the name Twist while looking for my Twiss
family. They do seem to be separate names, but I have also come
across some pretty amazing transcription errors including Swiss and
Suess so anything is possible.

Paula, thank you for all your help, I have plenty of work in front of
me following it all up and will let you know how they all fit
together. Meanwhile I have plenty of new websites to explore.
