Denise

Sorry for butting in, I am coming in half way through a conversation I am
afraid and hope you dont mind.

I notice your comment "Gill- I just realized that I gave you the wrong date
of birth for William Burgess-he died in 1816 of consumption at the age of
58. 1781 is the date of a possible marriage inDavenham to martha Warburton."

I believe there might be more than one William Burgess and Martha around at
the time which is why you say possibly, am I right???

The reason I ask is that a Sarah Burgess (bap pos 30-11-1794) was married to
one James Banks, they ended up running the grocers shop in Northwich during
the middle 1800's. I have Sarah's father as one William Burgess... are we
tal;king about the same person here and if we are do you have a link??

My wife is currently waiting for a quite serious operation in hospital so
all my paper work is away and I am working from a chart on the wall, so
please be patient with me as I may not reply straight away.
Many thanks

Chris Harper
